Aaron L. Cook, an ordained Elder and native Baltimorean, is the president and co-founder of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated. Spiritually, Aaron is a gifted exhorter and instructor, and he is the lead instructor for the organization. A passionate focus area for Aaron is to teach true believers how to be “fully persuaded” in the Word of God, as well as how to live life according to God’s original concepts. and precepts of the Kingdom. Over the past 20 years, Aaron has held several teaching and leadership positions within two major churches (one denominational and one non-denominational). His greatest accomplishment in both churches was that as the leader, he planned, developed, and implemented teaching programs for the Men’s Ministry (the Brotherhood) of both churches. In both cases, the active participation of men increased tremendously, lives were impacted, and households were changed. Secularly, Aaron has a B.S. in Managerial Science, and he has completed all courses of study for the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program as well. Aaron is a retired Educator from the Baltimore Public School System, and he is continuing to work in the field of education with another Maryland county public school system. Aaron is the husband of one wife of 39 years, Annette R. Cook. Aaron and Annette have three children and three grandchildren.
Annette R. Cook, a native Baltimorean, vice president, co-founder, and visionary of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated. Spiritually, Annette is passionately gifted by God as an administrator and exhorter. She has fully embraced her assignment by God to use her gifts for the creation and sustainment of opportunities that would allow those who choose life (based on Deuteronomy 30:19) to have ample opportunities to learn how to live life according to His original concepts and precepts of the Kingdom. She is the co-lead Instructor of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated. Over the past 20 years, Annette has held several leadership positions in two churches (one denominational and one non-denominational church). She also worked five years as the Church Administrator for one of the two churches. Secularly, Annette has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology. She is a retired change management professional for a “Big Four” accounting consulting firms. Annette currently works as an independent consultant continuing supporting Federal Government clients. Annette is married to Elder Aaron L. Cook, co-founder of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated, and they have three children and three grandchildren.
Deborah A. Thomas became a part of For Those Who Choose, Inc. in January 2016. As a member of the Board of Directors, Deborah is responsible for oversight of the organization’s administrative functions. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and has worked as a public servant for over 39 years in the federal government. Over the years, Deborah has held various leadership positions within the government and church environment. Her background includes experience in administration, project management, business process improvement and analysis. Deborah is a native of Detroit, Michigan and currently makes her home in Baltimore, Maryland.
Yvonne Mann, a native Baltimorean, is a member of the Board of Directors of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated. Yvonne currently serves as the treasurer and leader of the finance committee of the organization. Yvonne received her secondary and post-secondary education in the Baltimore area. She is career financial industry professional and holds a senior leadership position in a leading financial institution. Yvonne is a long-standing member of a well-known mega church in Baltimore City. She continues to serve as treasurer for several key ministries in that church. Yvonne is well known and respected as a committed and trustworthy individual. Yvonne enjoys life as a wife and mother of two children.
Rene’ J. Ross, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, is a Board of Directors member and the Administrative Assistant of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated. She received her secondary education and completed several hours towards her post-secondary education in the Baltimore area as well. Rene’ is a health and nutrition enthusiasts; she studied esthetics of the skin at Steiner School of Esthetics. Rene’ completed the program and became a licensed professional Esthetician in 2013. Rene’ is also a leader of the social media and technology committee of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated.
Aneisha B. Tilghman was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Aaron L. and Annette Cook. Aneisha is a member of the Board of Directors of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated and serves as the lead Project Manager for the organization. Aneisha is a product of the Baltimore City Public School system. She ultimately graduated from Baltimore City College High School in May of 2003. Aneisha went on to get her Bachelors of Arts from Hampton University in 2007 and a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University in 2015. Aneisha B. Tilghman is currently a certified Early Childhood educator and has been teaching in the Washington D.C. public school system for the last eleven years. Aneisha is married to William C. Tilghman.
Sherri D. Lawson, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, is a Board of Directors member of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated, and serves as the legal liaison and leader of the marketing committee for the organization. Sherri is a licensed minister, public relations media communications specialist, and legal professional. She believes living out the Kingdom concepts prescribed by Christ, is the only way to a truly fulfilled life; because Jesus made it explicitly clear, that the Kingdom of God is to be our number one priority. Sherri is a member of a well-known mega church in Baltimore City. She has served in several leadership positions in her church. Sherri knows only by acknowledging, understanding, and following God’s governmental laws will we live our absolute best lives. When we acknowledged that God has a Kingdom, then we acknowledge that He is our Royal King and can begin to live the life destined for us in the earth (Matthew 6:33). Sherri graduated from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Communications and is a Juris Doctor degree candidate, with an emphasis in Intellectual Property Law.
Diane M. Boulware, MSW, a member of the Board of the Directors of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated, is the leader of fundraising, and a part of the instructor team. Diane’s passion is to assist with God’s mandate and purpose for the lives of His people. Diane holds two master’s degrees in Social Work and is currently a Human Services organization and administration professional, for a local non-profit organization in the local Baltimore area. Diane is a long-standing member of a well-known mega church in Baltimore City. She has served in several capacities in various ministries of the church over the past 20 years. Diane professes that her purpose in life is to die empty, leaving in the earth the gifts and talents that God has “downloaded” in her before the foundation of the world and will assist others in discovering their purpose as well.
Antonio Rice, a member of the Board of Directors of For Those Who Choose Ministries, Incorporated, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Antonio is greatly endowed with the gifts of administration and service. He serves as the leader of the Facilities and Maintenance committee of the organization. Secularly, Antonio received his education in the Baltimore City School System. He currently works as an Daytime Residential Advisor for an education and career training skills organization in the Baltimore area as well. Antonio is a consummate professional; he is known for getting the job done productively, effectively, and efficiently. As such, Antonio is the recipient of several professional awards for his leadership, attention to detail, and level of commitment as a residential advisory professional.
